Rich tributes were paid to the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri on the occasion of their birth anniversary across Bokaro district on Tuesday.
People paid floral tributes to the Father of the Nation and organised cleanliness drives to promote ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ to make people aware of the advantages of cleanliness on this eve.
The motto of the cleanliness drive to make the country Open Defecation Free (ODF), for which the Union Government, along with various State Governments, has been constructing toilets and urinals in the remotest areas across the country.
