Ministry of railway has decided to fill the vacant seats with retired railway men. Through personnel dept., Ranchi Rail Division has initiated the process of recruitment and the information is circulated through information on website of south-east railways; www.ser.indianrailway.gov.in and newspapers. list of vacant posts in each department will be reviewed to reinstate efficient and suitable personnel. This scheme will be valid till December 1st, 2019. A committee with three members is to be chosen after the options are available.
Retired personnel who is fit to work and coming from weak economic will be benefited by this. Generally the appointment begins after two years of releasing notification and Ashwini lohani, Chairman of Railway Board has stressed upon completion of appointment process within six months as training programme for new recruits take some more time. Indian Railways will take these points into consideration before deciding upon the matter.
