Rethink quit decision, Yashwant tells party leaders

Published on:

I could not sleep whole night yesterday. It is still hammering in my mind that my two old colleagues have blamed me for their decision of leaving BJP. As per media reports they have complained against me to the State officials but they perhaps failed to satisfy them. Today I want to appeal to both my friends and all those who have decided to quit the party to rethink and if they will demand I am ready even to quit politics,” said senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha in a hurriedly called at Atal Bhavan in Hazaribagh on Thursday.

A visibly depressed Yashwant started the PC reminding the last PC in which questions were put before him about increasing differences in local party unit and his reply of accepting responsibility and assuring to satisfy the fellows. “I have tried my best but failed and now I can only say that if someone wishes to fight parliamentary election from here and party gives ticket to him then I am ready to work and assist him to my best.”

When asked about the effect of the exit of loknath Mahto and Devdayal Kushwaha on party Sinha said, “The party has given Assembly ticket to Devdayalji six times and to loknathji four  times and as per media reports they are angry with me not with party so I once again appeal them to revert their decisions.”
