Terming January 6, 2019 is historic day State BJP, on Monday; said Modi government has taken landmark step for 10 per cent reservations for the General class.
Criticising all political parties on the issue State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said that all political parties have spoken on reservations for poor General Class but not a single party has taken any step regarding the matter. The Modi government has understood the pain of poor General Classes, he added.
Shahdeo said that the government is going to amend the Constitution for the reservations of General Classes. All this matter is very serious to add poor General Classes to mainstream development of the country, he added.
“Congress has used General Classes as vote bank for decades but never thought on their interest. It is the goal of Modi government to eradicate poverty from the country. Keeping in view that poor are in all casts so that the government has taken the step,” Shahdeo added.
Speaking on other sections of society Shahdeo said, “Modi government has hardened the atrocities law against Schedule Cast and Scheduled Tribes and the government has formed Backward Class Commission. It has taken big steps for farmers and youths. This government has worked for all section of society.”
