Great resentment prevails among the doctors and regular staff following their held up of January month pay for improper biometric attendance.
Medical superintendent of the MMCH Daltonganj Dr Dharmendra Kumar said there are 18 medical officers here whose pay is held up.
Among the 18 medical officers, some are pretty fine and regular with their biometric attendance and some attendances are irregular or erratic.
On being asked if the regular third and fourth grade staff are any up in arms against the pay held up Dr Anil Kumar said the mood among the third and fourth regular staff here is very restless and it will be no wonder if for pay they may resort to harsh action.
Dr Dharmendra Kumar said "I have been asking them to have patience but I feel they are going impatient with every passing day."
DC Shashi Ranjan has asked for biometric attendance and in the event of its missing pay is to be put on hold.
The biometric attendance time is 10.40 in the morning which is the last end of the starting of the work day.
Sources said the medical staff are terming this order as most impractical keeping in view of their medical duty which is always urgent.
