NSUI representatives met with Deputy SP (Traffic) Dilip Khalkho on Wednesday to discuss the issue of unauthorised two-wheeler parking outside colleges of the city, mainly St. Xavier’s College and Gossener College. NSUI State Secretary Abhinav Bhagat said, “Despite having parking facility, students use to park vehicles outside campuses causing heavy traffic jam around. Even campus guards fail to prevent them doing so.” General Secretary Sharik Ahmed said that most of the private coaching institutions around lalpur Road don’t own a parking space causing traffic jam during peak hours.
