A modern indoor Badminton Hall with Synthetic Turfed Court and a brand new Table Tennis Board were inaugurated at Tensa Social Centre, Barsua Iron Mines of Odisha Group of Mines of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant by P K Rath, CGM In-Charge (Mines), on 1st January, 2023. Tilak Pattnaik, GM In-Charge (BIM-TIM- KIM) and other Senior Officers were present on the occasion. They also played a few shots to mark the opening of the new facilities. The Social Centre has also been renovated to give it a facelift and provide better experience to the employees and their children. The new facilities will give a fillip to sporting activities in the mines township and hone the budding badminton and table tennis talents.
