Relief soon on petroleum products, inflation rate below average: BJP

BJP National Spokesperson cum Member of Parliament Zafar Islam on Saturday said the Congress and the Opposition parties are trying to mislead the public by fearing the increasing steps of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, increasing trust in the people and development work. “People are being misled by presenting false figures. The country’s economy is on track,” he said.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday Islam said that the Opposition is terrified of the growing trust in PM Modi across the world.

“This honour had never been received before. Out of the budget of Rs 34 lakh crore, 29 lakh crore is being spent on Aatmnirbhar Bharat package, Ayushman, ration, vaccine etc. The maximum revenue collection has been coming from petroleum products. Other resources of revenue collection are starting; soon the government will give relief on the inflation of petroleum products. The inflation rate is around the average. Congress and the Opposition ruled states, instead of creating a ruckus, should reduce VAT and give relief to the people. Congress never reduced VAT. Five crore workers are working to make the vaccination drive a success,” he said.

The Rajya Sabha Member attacked the Congress and the Opposition parties and said that these parties do not love the people of the country but the power. Those who have been rejected by the country are all trying to show solidarity. People have rejected the policy of Congress.

He said instead of discussing the issues of the people in the House run by the people’s tax money, the Congress and the Opposition parties created unnecessary ruckus. The Congress and the opposition parties did the work of humiliating democracy by disrupting the House.

He said members of Congress and Opposition parties were seen tearing up the bill in the House while playing the whistle, dancing, trying to strangle, misbehaving and causing casualties to women.

This shameful scene was seen in the House for the first time in independent India. He said that the opposition parties are not concerned with the issue of the public, but are concerned about increasing nepotism, whereas Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants discussion on every issue.
