The akharas of outside Hazaribagh town will have to procure registration and license to participate in the famous Ramnavmi festivals processions of Hazaribagh town. It will be the responsibility of Mukhiyas of the villages from whose area procession comes to Hazaribagh town to ensure that without these papers no akhara will come to the town. It was said by SDO Shashi Ranjan in a PC held in his office chamber on Wednesday.
Talking about the preparations of famous Ramnavmi festival of Hazaribagh town Ranjan said that the akharas of Hazaribagh town will have to take license as usual like previous years and for this they will have to submit the names, address, photographs and phone numbers of the office bearers of the committee through their ward councilor. This year the district administration will fix the number of sound boxes to be used and use of DJ and sound boxes beyond permitted limit will be punishable.
SDO Shashi Ranjan said that the district administration is aiming to bring entire town, specially the entry points of the town and the procession route under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. With every committees procession special police force will be available. Static forces will be available at all important sites. This year we have decided to give medical facilities to the needy ones at nearest place so we have appealed to the denizens having rooms at ground floor in the route of Ramnavmi procession to spare a room to arrange these facilities. It will also help our jawans to take rest, he added.
