The officials of the Raw Material Department of BSL have set a record by unloading a rake of high silica sand in 15 hours 35 minutes. Earlier, the Team of Raw Material took a long time of 37 hours to complete the same work on May 27, 2022. On this achievement of Team Raw Material, Executive Director (Works) BK Tiwari congratulated and gave a message to continue this series of achievements in the future as well. This execution was achieved under the guidance of Chief General Manager (Services) Anil Kumar and with the precise coordination of other officers and personnel including General Manager (R&M) Brajesh Kumar and Assistant General Manager (R&M) Devendra Kumar. In this work of unloading, there was a significant contribution by traffic and DNW in emptying the load and making proper arrangements for lighting respectively.
Also after renovation of Radial Settling Tank 1 of GCP Closed Loop Water System of Blast Furnace at BSL, it was inaugurated by BK Tiwari, Executive Director (Works) on 4th January. It is noteworthy that Cleaning of blast furnace gas is done through radial settling tank 1 of GCP closed loop water system of blast furnace. Renovation of this settling tank will improve the quality of Blast Furnace gas cleaning as well as reduce wastage of water.
