Ranchities wait for affordable medical health care centre has come to an end as Devkamal hospital is all set to start the Ranchi Municipal Corporation’s (RMC) Ratu Road hospital by the end of this financial year.
Devkamal hospital Director Dr Ananth Sinha sharing the information about the same said, “Finally after a wait of nearly two-and-a-half months the lease paper of the hospital has been handed over to us by RMC. We have also signed an agreement regarding it.”
RMC has given its 20 bedded hospital to Devkamal hospital on lease for 15 years. The 4,000 sq ft hospital has a reception, emergency ward, OPD area, two operation theater, doctor cabins, shop for chemist shop and also parking facility. The hospital will provide treatment for disease.
“We will ensure that patients belonging from poor economic background can avail the hospital services. Till date charges has not been fixed but it will not burn their pocket,” added Sinha. Responding the question of when will the hospital be thrown open for the people Sinha succinctly said, “Soon, we are yet to decide the exact date but are hopeful that within the month of March will start the hospital.”
