After about eight months, once again, many trains have started to operate from Ranchi Rail Division from Saturday. For traveling on these trains, one can take tickets through the Railway's PRS Counter, Unreserved Ticket Counter, UTS App, ATVM or IRCTC website. People are getting comfortable traveling from Ranchi to other places including Dumka and Lohardaga.
For the convenience of the passengers, 10 MEMU passenger trains were resumed from Ranchi Rail Division which were closed to prevent Coronavirus infection.
Train number 08619 Ranchi-Dumka special train will depart from Ranchi at 9.30 pm and Dumka will arrive at 7.25 am. Train number 68039 Ranchi-Lohardaga Memu train opened from Ranchi at 2.55 pm and Lohardaga will arrive at 4.20 pm. Train number 68040 Lohardaga-Ranchi Memu train will open from Lohardaga at 4.45 pm and will reach Ranchi at 6.20 pm.
Train number 08085 Kharagpur-Ranchi MEMU train will open from Kharagpur at 4.40 am and reach Ranchi at 12.35 pm. Train number 68141 Ranchi- Lohardaga MEMU train will open from Ranchi at 6.40 pm and reach Lohardaga at 8.10 pm. Train number 68142 Lohardaga-Ranchi Memu train will open from Lohardaga at 8.30 pm and will reach Ranchi at 9.50 pm.
Train number 58659 Hatia-Rourkela Passenger train will open from Hatia at 5.05 pm and Rourkela will arrive at 11.15 pm. Train number 58662 Hatia-Tata Passenger train will open from Hatia at 4.25 am and Tata will arrive at 10.30 am. Train number 58661 Tata-Hatia Passenger will open from Tata at 12.45 pm and Hatia will arrive at 6.55 pm.
Train number 68041 Adra-Barkakana Memu train will leave Sunday for six days in a week. This train will open from Adra at 4.55 am and Muri will reach 7.30 am and Barkakana at 9.45 am and train number 68042 Barkakana-Adra Memu train will open from Barkakana at 2.05 pm and Muri will reach at 3.30 pm and Adra at 7.15 pm.
At the time of reoperation of Ranchi Lohardaga Memu Passenger train, Ranchi MP, Sanjay Seth arrived at Ranchi railway station on Saturday. He inspected the passenger facilities available at Ranchi station. Divisional Railway Manager, Neeraj Ambastha was already present at Ranchi station along with other officials.
Ranchi Lohardaga Memu Passenger train was mainly operated by women railway personnel. The train was staffed by Loco Pilot, Deepali Amrit, Ticket Inspector, Urshila Toppo, Lorencia Kerketta, Deepti Kachhap and Priyanka Kumari of Railway Protection Force, Reena Roy,Sheetal, Aarti Bara.
On the occasion of re-operation of Ranchi Lohardaga Memu Passenger Train, Senior Divisional Engineer (Coordination), Amit Kanchan, Senior Divisional Operations Manager cum Chief Public Relations Officer, Neeraj Kumar, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Avnish, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer (General), Kuldeep Kumar and other officials were present.
