Ranchi Police will soon hold a meeting with Google India for updating of information for route-line (block road/disturbed route) in Google Map. The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by the Inspector General of Police, South Chotanagpur Range, Ranchi here on Friday.
A review meeting on traffic and law and order maintenance of Ranchi district with Deputy Inspector General of Police cum Senior Superintendent of Police, Ranchi, Superintendent of Police (City/Rural/Traffic) and all Deputy Superintendents of Police was held here on Friday in the chairmanship of IG, South Chhotanagpur Zone.
In the meeting many important instructions were given related to quality traffic maintenance and law and order under Ranchi district. It was decided that Traffic helpline / WhatsApp number will be issued in the capital Ranchi, in which the traffic related problem of the general public will be resolved immediately.
A campaign will be run in coordination with the Municipal Corporation, the concerned police station and the traffic police station to make the road encroachment free.
â Joint responsibility of the police station in-charge and traffic police station officer of the concerned area will be fixed for solving the problem of traffic jam.
Problems related to road engineering will also be started smoothly with the cooperation of the district administration. Special attention will be paid to traffic related problems during the arrival and departure time of children from school.
Unnecessary cuts, which are creating obstacles in following traffic rules, will be identified and closed. The public has been appealed to clear the challan by depositing their pending challan fee as soon as possible.
A WhatsApp number will be issued for the general public to participate in traffic management by becoming a traffic volunteer.
