Mayor Rama Khalkho yet to be arrested as several teams’ raided different locations in Ranchi searching for her. Exit points from the city have also been kept under police scanner. Warrant of arrest had been issued by a Ranchi court on Tuesday against Khalkho who, is also wanted in the cash grab case after Rs 12.9 lakh was recovered from a hotel room in Ranchi allegedly meant to be used by Khalkho to influence voters ahead of the Municipal Elections.
Meanwhile, the CCTV footage seized from the Hotel is being scanned and action will be taken against those who come under net. “Video footage is being thoroughly scanned and nobody will be spared whoever comes under the net,” SP City Manoj Ratan was quoted as saying.
She was reported to have left Ranchi after the poll on Monday.
