Ranchi District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) on Friday held a congregation for disposal of four cases related to commercial cases through pre-litigation. The congregation was organised for the bank workers, media persons, mediators and advocates.
It may be mentioned here that it is a record that Ranchi DLSA disposed four cases of commercial matters through pre-litigation. First time such kinds of cases were disposed in Jharkhand. While giving welcome speech on the occasion, Secretary DLSA, Abhisek Kumar said that the mediation of cases is going on at the Ranchi mediation center related to commercial matter through pre litigation in which parties are settling the issue without filing cases of disputes which is saving precious times of the courts and the parties also. “After inaction of the Commercial Act, 2015 it is being made mandatory for the parties to apply for mediation before filing the cases of the commercial matters and the cases can be filed only after failure of mediation application.
Three courts are going on in Jharkhand for the commercial cases, they are at Ranchi, Dhanbad, and Jamshedpur,” said Kumar.
Ranchi DLSA, Mediator Specialist Nirmal Ranjan has settled four commercial cases through mediation including a case of 19 year old land dispute in which Rs 18 lakh and 51 thousand given through the court.
