Now you can play online games transparently. Your card cannot be seen even by the server that has provided the game. This has happened through ‘Mental Poker’ , the invention made possible by Srijan, a resident from Ranchi. Srijan's invention 'Cryptography to protect players in online games' programming has received a patent from the US Government. It can also be seen as a solution to a problem that has been going on for almost 40 years.
Srijan, who is presently living in Pune, received a patent for his invention this month. Srijan has been working on the project since 2013. Srijan said that he was fond of playing cards, after that used to play this game online. Then, there would be one thing in his mind that he is aware of the cards that the server is giving us. Then this game cannot be fair. Whereas when we play cards, even the card holder does not know which cards he has given.
The same thought was going on in Srijan’s mind about how to make the internet game transparent and fair. It was made possible only through the boy's correct thinking and passion he has kept. It took two-and-a-half-three years to understand after reading several papers published in this subject. “Till now 50 papers on this topic i.e. Mental Poker has been published in the last 40 years, but no one had a practical solution. We have presented a practical solution to this. I am happy that I have received a patent on this invention,” said Srijan in the media.
Srijan did his early education from St Thomas School, Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. After tenth he did his XII from DAV Ranchi. After this, he has done BTech, MS, Computer Science from IIT Hyderabad. In the first attempt in 2006, got 3354 rank in IIT-JEE and 1957 rank in AIEEE. Srijan's father SK Singh was the Director of Rural Self-Employment Training Institute, Ramgarh and Seraikela in Punjab National Bank. Srijan's mother is a computer science teacher at Loreto Convent Ranchi. Srijan's sister is also a software engineer at Amazon.
