Dr Ramdayal Munda Park will soon add beauty to green Morhabadi grounds with new delights like Pagoda, Green house and light posts. Keeping in view the health prospects of senior citizens and youngsters the park is getting constructed at a fast pace.
The park may also become a new hang out place for the youngsters. The construction work is in full swing. Residents of Ranchi are to witness the most different style of park in the town. “The construction work is in full pump and show. The area of the park is approx 14,500sq feet. The work will be completed till August 15 and the park will be in full bloom from August 23, the date when Dr Ramdayal Munda was born,” said the contractor of the park, Suraj Prasad Jaiswal. The park is being equipped with many comfort facilities and the residents of Ranchi will be seeing many new styles. 10 to 12 different varieties of garden-chair are being constructed of different varieties of woods. There is a zigzag pathway which is basically constructed for the purpose of jogging as promoting health among youngsters is the main objective of the park.
Just at the entrance of the park there is a statue of Dr Ramdayal Munda and the granite floor is getting constructed around the statue. Costly plants are bought for the park which is to be planted all around the park premises to create a green environment. “The cafeteria inside the park is getting constructed in the Pagoda style, which is a Chinese style. Green House in the park will be the first Green house in Ranchi and the light Post is also very new for the people of Ranchi. Fox tail plant which is one of the costliest plants that is to be planted in the park premises for an eye catchy look. The most attractive thing in the park is the three statues of different styles and the boundary which is of stones with grills in between,” said Suraj Prasad Jaiswal. In addition he said, “This will be the best park in Ranchi after being constructed which is funded by Ranchi Municipal Corporation.”
