A Ramanavami procession was conducted in the venture of central Mahavir Mandal. The procession started from Thana Toli and made its way through Subhash chowk, Tetartar, Tangra Toli and Sunahala Sangh. The members of several Akharas joined the procession in the way.
In the fair many people were present with traditional arms and musical instruments. They were shouting the slogans ‘Ram lakhan Janki Jai Bolo Hanuman Ki.’ The procession was welcomed by several social organizations at many places. Near big pond it was welcomed by Anjuman Islamia. They provided grams, cold drinks and sweets. The participants were filled with a lot of enthusiasm. The procession finally reached to Maina Bagicha and converged into fair at late evening.
In the procession head of the Mandal Ritesh Kumar singh, Rajendra Khatri, Sudhir Chandra Kunwar, Om Prakash Singh, Sukhdeo Bhagat, Madan mohan Pathak, Vikas Verma, Paras Verma, Rohit Tamera, Amar Prajapati, Devanshu Prasad, Prabhat Kumar, Sumit Sinha, Pramod Prajapati, Dr T Sahu, Sanjay Berman, Raju Sarraf and many others were present.
By Mahavir Mandal, Senha a fair was organized on Sunday. In the fair the chief guest was speaker of legislative assembly Dinesh Oraon. On the occasion Oraon said, “We have to be ideal, and by being so we may go ahead in every walk of life.” Municipal chairman Pawan Ekka and Smt Kalawati Debvi district council member, Senha were also present on the eve.
