Tough task lies ahead for BJP MP from Palamau VD Ram to promote Kishunpur village in his his lok Sabha constituency as Adarsh Gram as residents of Kishunpur do not look convinced of their village going to be any Adarsh. They said they would have been far happier had villages like Buka and Areydana would have been focused for Adarsh Gram Yojna. Buka and Areydana are the neglected villages of Palamau. The residents said this in front of the former Congress MlA K N Tripathy who in just two vehicle caravan reached the village to find out as to how far this village has changed. The task before the BJP MP Ram is to improve and strengthen the canal that links Amanat River to Jinjoi. A paddy seed seller Sahu said river water of Amanat if reaches Jinjoi River then the fortune of the farmers will be bright but here it is not so. They wanted their MP to get this done before it is too late.
Tripathy said “I have come here to see the pace of development of this upcoming Adarsh Gram but here the voices are different”.The schools, the panchayat bhavan and other public utility resources are languishing. The residents of Kishunpur said with gratitude that around four to five tube wells have sunk this summer. Residents of the village said, “There are unscrupulous people who are showing their used toilets as a newly built and are gulping down 6,000 rupees also”.However when The Pioneer asked for specific case of this order there came none. The road between Kishunpur and Pakri is in total disarray and the BJP MP needs to take care of it asked the residents before the former Congress MlA Tripathy. None of the people spoke of any afforestation work being undertaken for this Adarsh Gram. Sources said the visit of a senior Congress man in this village is set to hot up politically as Kishunpur is a politically sensitive village.
