Director (Personnel), Central Coalfields limited (CCl) R S Mahapatro on Monday presided over a meeting of the Rajbhasha Karyanwayan Samity at Coal Room, Darbhanga House, Ranchi.
P K Tiwari, Director (Technical/Operations) was also present as the guest of honour during the meeting. In addition to the Directors, Staff Officer Project (SOPs) from all areas, Chief General Managers, General Managers and Head of the Departments from CCl Headquarters attended the tri-monthly Rajbhasha Karyanwayan Samity.
Both the Directors awarded three areas of the company- Rajrappa(1st), N K Area (2nd) and Piparwar(3rd) – for performing better work in the field of Hindi. Similarly, Recruitment, Pension and Non-Executive departments from CCl Headquarters were given 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respective by the Directors.
Mahapatro first presided the meeting and said this is the last meeting of this calendar year. He appreciated few departments of headquarters and areas for better implementation of Rajbhasha and advised other employees from non-Hindi speaking belt to put their signature in Hindi while disposing official work.
P K Tiwari, Director(Technical/Operation) talked about importance of Hindi and motivated employees to perform maximum official work in Hindi.
The programme was co-ordinated by Dr. Nivedita Banerjee, Sr. Officer (Ol), Rajbhasha Department and vote of thanks was proposed by V N Prasad, GM(NEE).
