The executive engineer Jharkhand state building construction corporation limited gave 'wrong report' to the headquarter and to the Nilamber Pitamber university claiming the availability of the boring for the water supply as a result of this wrong report the university took over the academic building on January 24, 2025.
The executive engineer of Jharkhand state building construction corporation limited here in Daltonganj is in the firing line of the Raj Bhavan for giving a wrong report in regard to the availability of water boring in the academic building.
Sources said the Nilamber Pitamber university was under tremendous pressure from the Jharkhand state building construction corporation limited and also from its going to retire VC in-charge Bal Kishun Munda to concede to take over the academic building of the Nilamber Pitamber university.
The university took over the building on January 24 just 7 days ahead of the retirement of the then VC incharge Bal Kishun Munda.
All hell was brought on the registrar incharge for taking over the building but now the two page letter of the additional chief secretary to the Governor Nitin Madan Kulkarni dated April 16 to the Secretary finance department government of Jharkhand, dispels the cloud raising accusing finger at the executive engineer of Jharkhand state building construction corporation limited for the major wrong reporting.
Again the additional chief secretary to the Governor's letter points towards lack of inspection of the academic building by the university officials from time to time.
Here it is worth mentioning that the Nilamber Pitamber university has no engineer even of the junior level with it.
Lots of infrastructure works go on here in the colleges under the university here but there is no engineer with the university to oversee or inspect the ongoing construction works. College teachers are sadly a misfit to oversee or inspect any construction work.
The additional chief secretary to the Governor has asked for a special audit of the academic building by a team of officials of the finance department itself.
There has been an increase in the estimate of the academic building worth 43 crores which is the most eyebrow raising.
