The tremors that rocked Daltonganj on Saturday and also on Sunday have put the railway officials here on alert. Railway engineers are inspecting railway bridges on this CIC section under Dhanbad railway division of the East Central railways. There are old railway bridges at Amanat river, Beesfutta pul, Kechki, and two more bridges falling between Barwadeeh and latehar railway stations. All these bridges are under the scanner of the railway engineers informed a senior railway ticker examiner BM Pandey.
Officials informed that 11 member trolley team is keeping a close look look on the up and down lines of the railways here. The tremors have caused no effect on either signalling system or tracks of the railways here.
