Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi would come on a one-day tour of Jharkhand on February 7. The Gandhi scion would take part in a road show from Hazaribagh to Ranchi besides having intensive and personalised interactions with tribal women, youths and minority community.
Informing about the trip, media in-charge of State Congress Shailesh Sinha said that Rahul Gandhi would arrive at Hazaribagh in a special flight at 9 in the morning and after formal welcome would leave for Ranchi by road. In the way he would meet people and listen to them.
“He is scheduled to reach Ranchi at 1 pm and hold personal interaction with tribal women group followed by interaction with youths. After the lunch, he would hold a similar interaction with minority community that would include Muslim, Jain, Sikh and Christian,’ said Sinha.
The visit has been finalised after much effort made by Jharkhand Congress in this regard. Though, Rahul would not address any rally in the State but the party thinks that his interactions with workers and different groups would pump desired enthusiasm required ahead of Mission-2014.
