Raghuwar Das attacks JVM MP for claiming undue credit

Former BJP state president Raghuwar Das has criticised Jamshedpur MP, Dr Ajoy Kumar for taking undue credit over development activities in the steel city.

Talking to newsmen here Das said, ‘Dr. Kumar and his party workers were trying to take credit of all the development schemes. They are playing cheap politics. Even several schemes run by MlA development funds through my single handed initiatives were being attributed to Dr. Kumar.

The misuse of media to gain publicity was condemnable. People must know the truth”.

“He is also taking credit for construction of roads in my assembly constituency Jamshedpur East. But let me tell the MP that said roads in Birsanagar and in Birsanagar Zone No.2 -- have been laid through a state Government scheme for MlA’s. Kumar has no role in construction of these two roads,” he clarified.

To a query Das urged the people of Jharkhand to recognise all the corrupt politicians, irrespective of which party they belong to and oust them.

Criticising Kumar, Das said the Jamshedpur MP is even taken all the credit for construction of 12.5 km road from Golpahari to Parsudih. “He is unnecessary taking credits. I think JVM needs to keep vigil on its party leaders,” he noted.

Das alleged that the Jamshedpur MP has raised issue of NH 33 in parliament despite the knowledge of fact that four-lining work is already underway. He also demanded CBI probe into Dr Prabhat murder case. “There is a major conspiracy behind Dr Prabhat’s murder. The case should be handed over to the CBI,” he said.
