Raghubar Das lashes at coalition government

Former chief minister Raghubar Das continues to be a great crowd puller. He held a press conference today in Daltonganj where he lashed at the Hemant Soren government mercilessly.

The national vice president of the BJP was so carried away in his stringent criticism of the Hemant Soren government that he even didn't bother using words against this government which are under the category of the unparliamentary words to the Lok Sabha.

He called this government 'the worst corrupt government' to use one of his many expletives. He again called this government a great betrayer of its poll promises while he had fulfilled 80 per cent of the BJP poll promises when he was the chief minister as he said the manifesto is like the Geeta, the Bible and the Quran to the BJP.

Das referred to the slow progressing Sone and Kanhar rivers piped water scheme saying it will take another 2 or 3 years for it to become functional. He reminded he got it launched.

On Hemlal Murmu leaving the BJP, Das said in his own characteristic manner "Who cares? The BJP is a sea. He is like a pot of water only."

"The sand of Garhwa is going to Delhi and Noida. There is no one to stop it. Garhwa has a minister. Everyone knows him too well" added Das.

The veteran BJP leader termed the recent violence in Palamu as a result of the appeasement to one community by the government asking government's officials to work neutrally. He said a couple of women showed their fractured hands which they claimed occurred to them during the raid of the police in their houses.

The national vice president of the BJP evaded answering on why the BJP is not in favour of the caste based census in Jharkhand and elsewhere in the states. He tried to mix caste based census with reservation roster and socio economic survey but didn't speak a word about the BJP's no to the caste based census.

However, Das congratulated the state police and the CRPF for neutralising 5 dreaded Maoists in Chatra saying "I find this to be a good work done. I welcome the government if it does good. I am not the one to find fault with the government just because the BJP is in the opposition here. No. I don't do this."

Close to it he fell heavily upon the government for impractical employment policy and flayed the government to having this 60:40 in the employment which he said, will submerge Jharkhand with people outside the state doing government job here leaving no space for the locals to even do third grade and fourth grade job here.

On the poll prospects for the BJP in 2024 two elections one of the General election and the other of the assembly election Das said "We will sweep both the elections. We will win all lok sabha seats and will have two third majority in the assembly."
