State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday termed Rghubar Government’s four and half years tenure as golden period for the State, while Hemant Government’s 14 month tenure as blot in the history of the State.

Addressing a press meet on Monday State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said that Raghubar government has done tremendous job in development of the State. “With a view to realise resolution of ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ the State government has launched numerous welfare programmes. The Government has tried to uplift the weakest of the society along with development for all,” he added.

“Mukhyamantri Krisi Ashirwad Yojna has proved a boon for the farmers of the State. Through this scheme the State Government is directly sending Rs 5,000 to the accounts of farmers. This amount is addition to the amount sending by the State government. The Chief Minister Sukanya Yojana is a unique scheme for all round development of daughters, in which initiatives have been taken in the direction of prevention of marriage and early marriage. Rs 5,000 at the birth of girl, Rs 5,000 at the entering time in standard five in the school, Rs 5,000  at standard 10 and if she is unmarried in 18 years there is provision of Rs 10,000 in her account,” said Shahdeo.

Lauding the State Government’s development programme, Shahdeo said that the smart phone scheme for the farmers, the traditional village heads, the standard, the promotion of the Munda, the beautification of Sarna Masana Hatgari, the arrangement of street lights in every village, clean drinking water, pebble block roads are landmark works by the government.

Informing on the initiative taken by the State Government in the field of electricity Shahdeo said that the construction work of new grids, transmission lines and sub-stations is in final stage. “Concrete measures have been taken in the 2,250 colonies of primitive tribes to sort out water problem. Till September water will be provided,” he added.

“Apart from this, the Government has dedicated to people the most beautiful Haj house in India. For the first time the Schedule Tribe Commission and the Backward Classes Finance Development Corporation were formed, payment of insurance premiums of the farmers was ensured. Around 17 lakh women got self employment by getting attached with Sakhi Mandal, formation of Tana Bhagat Corporation, transfer of property up to Rs 50 lakh in one rupee and reach of electricity in remote villages like Pesrar, Gudri and Guru are notable achievements,” said Shahdeo.

He said to protect the State’s culture tradition, the government has done a lot of work by making anti-conversion law.

Hitting hard on former government led by Hemant Soren, the BJP Spokesperson said that Hemant Government should remember his tenure, in which there was no jobs, the government fell on local policy issue, sand mines were sold to businessmen of Mumbai, then State Government Minister, Dadai Dubey had termed government as industry of transfer posting. “Talking on local policy is not good for those who sent outsider to Rajya Sabha.

This was the government, in which Hemant deputed outsiders on all important posts,” he added.
