Attractive and colourful tableaux showcasing the development of Jharkhand made on different frontages will steal the show on Republic Day (R-Day) here at Morhabadi Ground on Saturday. Presenting the glimpse of modern and developing Jharkhand heading towards a new dawn, this R-Day, several government schemes of almost all departments will be there to enthrall the denizens.
Adding on some attractive elements to capture the attention of public while imparting important messages, the tableaux glorifying the dominance of females in every sector will be the centre of attraction. Presenting Jharkhand’s progress, the denizens will get a glimpse of mixed themes ranging from exotic tourist circuits to steps taken up to promotion of cottage industries, role of Self Help Groups (SHGs) and others.
A few popular devotional sites and archeological heritages will be showcased through the tableaux. According to the sources, tableaux will also showcase the life history of great tribal leaders, besides, the importance of solar energy, significance of skill development in uplifting the lives of several people especially the downtrodden. Various initiatives taken up by the Department of Health and Family Welfare like Ayushmaan Bharat, ‘Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana’ including others will also be showcased. Taking up immunization, malnutrition and ‘Aaganwadi’, the tableau by Department of women, child development and social security will convey the importance of these vital issues among the public.
Meanwhile, depicting the quintessence of Jharkhand blessed with abundance of forest and natural resources, a tableau focusing on employment generated through cottage industries while showing the importance of value added forest goods like LAC, Silk etc. will be presented.
Also, the recent achievement of the State in attaining the Open Defecation Free (ODF) tag will be showcased as a prime theme. “Considering all ongoing government schemes, each department was sent a requisition. This R-Day, the State government has planned to take up all major government schemes to ensure its maximum coverage by reaching out to the public through major event like R-Day,” said Ranchi District PRO, Isha Khandelwal.
