69th Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic zest and fervor in the district. Main function held at Govind Inter College field where Health and Family Welfare Minister Ramchandra Chandravanshi hoisted the tricolor. Speaking on the occasion the Minister said that Indian constitution is the best constitution of the world. He also lauded development of Jharkhand.
“Government has launched several schemes for the peoples, including Jan Dhan Yojna. Swachchh Bharat Mission, Atal Pension Yojna, Namami Gange Yojna, Ujjwala Yojna, etc.For employment generation Government planned to develop cottage industries,” said he.
The Minister informed that dialysis would be started in eight districts in the State on PPP mode. Before hoisting tricolor, he inspected parades presented by the CRPF, Jharkhand Armed Police and school children. On the occasion different departments presented tableaux showcasing their achievements.
The Minister also welcomed freedom fighters and their family members offering shawl to them. Besides this DC Neha Arora, Principal District and Sessions Judge PK Srivaswa, senior member of District Consumer Forum Sarika Singh, Garhwa SP Mohammed Arshi, Civil Surgeon, Principal of the SSJSN college,managers of different bank and others were also unfurled the tricolour at their respective offices.
