Qualified Para teachers are continuing their fast unto death for quick recruitment at the DC office. They claimed that even after the order of High Court and written assurance of DSE the recruitment has not been done. They have been on fast since May 30.
DSE Jayant Mishra had given written assurance for the recruitment till June 30. They said that would continue their fast until the authorities have given a clear assurance. The candidates were Dilip Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Komal Kumari, Nisha Mahto, Arsad Imam, Kaushal Nath, Anjana Singh, Anil Sahu, Pawan Kumar, Maheshwari prajapati, and Vijay Sahu.
The protest fast was supported by many social and political organisations. From Samajik Vichar Manch Kanwaljeet Singh, Sagar Verma, Ezaz Malik, Sandeep Bhagat and Sushil Oraon were present. JVM leader Praveen Singh, MC Head Pawan Ekka and district council vice president Maneer Oraon also reached to show their solidarity.
