n The puja committees of Dhanbad are preparing for opening of pandals for devotees after state government issues fresh guidelines with minor changes.
"The changes are not enough as far as the annual puja is concerned but now more people can be allowed to visit pandals at one time for offering the obeisances to the mother Goddess ", said Kumar Koshal secretary of the Bartand Puja samittee.
The decision to allow use of public address systems during morning and evening aarti is a welcome move and his committee is to abide by all corona protocols as decided by government, added Koshal.
Jaidev Gupta of Tetultalla railway ground puja committee said , the decisions of the government are being implemented. The height of idols are as per directive . The permission for increasing numbers of devotees at a time in pandal is a welcome move besides use of PAS during morning and evening Arti's, said Jaidev.The pandal ,though is simple and small would be opened for people today evening, added Jaidev.
SDM Satyendar Kumar on other hand visited different pandals that have come up in parts of district and directed them to abide by the covid norms .He announced for reward for the puja committees that would have best facility of corona safety measures in the puja pandals and would maintain the covid protocol of social distancing besides others.
Kumar said instructions have been passed on for each of the pandals to maintain the guidelines issued by the state government.
