Governor Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday has instructed all private university Vice-Chancellors (V-Cs) to ensure basic amenities in their campus premises to provide world-class facilities to the students for imparting quality education. Governor, Draupadi Murmu was reviewing the work (educational and administrative) of all private universities functioning across the State.
VCs of AISECT University, AMITY University, ICFAI, Jharkhand Rai University, Sainath University and Usha Martin University, principal secretary to Governor, SK Satpathy and Governor’s academic advisor, Anand Bhushan were present at the meeting.
The Governor has also instructed all the VCs to go for NAAC accreditation and prepare for the same to ensure
the credibility of the institutes. NAAC inspection is slated from March 2017.
