The ongoing property dispute between family members of legendary leader and one of the founders of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) late Binod Behari Mahto resulted in a bloody clash today.
Bineta Singh, great granddaughter-in-law of Mahto and his son were injured and somehow reached Dhanbad police station with injuries on different parts of body for safety.
Benita alleges that Soma Mahto wife of Nand Kishor Mahto ,who happens to be cousin brother of Binod Behari Mahto, called their supporters from Baliapur in order to capture the house ..They have attempted in past too to capture the house located at Chiragolora in which they are living now, claimed, Benita .
However, Soma claims that the story is concocted . SHE however claims that she too has equal rights on the house and lives in the upper portion of the building. However for safety reasons yesterday evening she had shifted to live with her sister.
The case is pending in court and a false story has been cooked by Benita to implicate them.
Dhanbad police have launched an investigation in this case on the basis of complaint of Benita .BothBenita and her son were taken to hospital for treatment by police.
It's worth mentioning that the property dispute aggravated since the death of Raj Mishor Mahto son of Binod Behari Mahto when Benita announced to donate ancestral land for the cricket stadium besides the decision to contest for the post of Mayor.
