A meeting on preparation for celebration of National Unity Day on the occasion of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Jayanti was called by the DC Binod Kumar on Sunday.
On the occasion a run for unity would be organised that would start from Palmerganj and go to collectorate ground. Then an oath ceremony would be held. In all the schools debate and painting competitions would be held.
In the evening a march past would be observed by the policemen and CRPF personnel from Palmerganj to Sadar Thana.
At night cultural programmes would be organised in town hall.
For that a team has been set up in the head of AC Ranjeet Kumar Sinha. In the meeting railway SP cum SP-in-Charge lohardaga Anshuman Kumar, DPO Mahesh Bhagat, DTO Rajeev Kumar, DSE Renuka Tigga and all the COs and BDOs were present.
