The procession of the festival of nature Sarhul was marked peacefully and with a lot of fervour. The procession started from Veer Shivaji Chowk after performing some rituals at Akhra Bhawan and made its way from main road. It converged into a fair at Maina Bagicha.
The people were seen in their traditional dresses with traditional music creating on Dhol Nagaras.Before it they worshiped at the site of Akhra in which JPCC chief Sukhdeo Bhagat, MlA KK Bhagat, Dr Rameshwar Oraon, organiser Vinod Bhagat, Prof lohra Oraon and a number of Sarna religion followers were present.
