A one-day workshop on School Health Wellness was successfully held at Chinmaya Vidyalaya under the Teacher Capacity Building Program. The session was conducted by Principal Suraj Sharma.

In the first session, Principal Sharma explained the updated CBSE teacher training structure, now divided into three domains with defined topics. Teachers must now complete 12, 24, and 14 hours of training across these areas through offline or online modes.

Focusing on adolescence, he discussed the physical, emotional, and psychological changes students face, calling it a complex yet defining phase of life. He used case studies and activities to train teachers on how to guide students effectively during this period.

He encouraged teachers to instill a mindset of “I am capable, I have the strength, and I can achieve” among students and advised maintaining sensitivity and skill in all student interactions.

The session was attended by Vice Principal Narmendra Kumar, Headmaster Gopal Chandra Munshi, Executive HR Supriya Chaudhary, and the entire teaching staff.
