Primitive tribes left on mercy of Naxals at Budha, Jhalha Dera

Published on:

The primitive tribal families of Buda and Jhalha Dera villages are forced to live on the mercy of the Maoists, thanks to the absence of police and administration.

The area already neglected remains a safe haven. There are 31 family living in village Budha Gaon and nine at Jhalha Dera tola but out of fear the primitive tribe family have started migrating to some other places.

The mountain, Budha Pahar, which till now is considered shield for the Primitive tribal has now become a curse for them because the height is under the possession of the Maoists. After being driven from many mountains like Jhumra and Saranda, the Maoists have made the Budha Pahar make their permanent hideout and continuing with their war against the system.

No ordinary but Maoists think tank Arvindji is to be present there with some of top commanders and over 300 cadres. The Government has set a reward `1 crore on Arvindji's head.

Garhwa SP Mohammed Arshi however denied that such an incident has happened at Budha Gaon. But often the extremists take some people with them.

SP informed that  they have been running a police campaign to free the mountain.

In this order police established temporary police camp around the Budha Pahad villages including Timera, Tumer, Khapri Mahua, Pundag.
