President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday addressed the students and faculty members of all Central universities, Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) of the country through video conferencing.
For this, Central University of Jharkhand made elaborate arrangement to be a part of the occasion facilitating students, faculty members and administrative staff to hear the President speaking on “Democracy and Governance”.
CUJ Vice Chancellor Professor AN Misra, Deans, faculty members and large number of students were present at the auditorium.
Earlier on January 7, Mukherjee addressed students and teachers of CUJ.
A newly installed video conference facility in Rashtrapati Bhawan enabled the President to interact with faculty of various universities.
