Tata Steel Foundation, Jamadoba, felicitated the meritorious students of Pre-Matric Coaching (PMC) classes, for their outstanding performance in the Annual Secondary Board Examination 2023, conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi.
Held at the JRD Tata Auditorium here onThursday the aim of this programme was to recognise the achievements of 205 students, who have secured an aggregate of 75% and more. Gratitude was also expressed to the 42 teachers from senior classes, without whom this feat would have not been possible.
The programme began with a safety pause, followed by students greeting the esteemed guests with the gift of a sapling each. The ceremonial lamp was lit jointly by the Chief Guest, Sanjay Rajoria, General Manager, Jharia Division, Tata Steel, along with the teachers and others.
The Chief Guest congratulated all the students and lauded the efforts of the teachers. He also praised TSF, for running such educational programmes that benefit a large number of students belonging to the Company’s leasehold areas.
