The condition of electricity in lohardaga has become miserable. One engineer opts to look for the electricity condition of 296 villages and 22 wards. The executive engineer Ramji has also been given the charge of junior engineer and assistant engineer. In district, it takes too many hours to carry out single problem.
As per information, the post of five junior engineers and five assistant engineers are vacant. Here in electricity office there is no junior and assistant engineer. For this reason all the works are looked by executive engineer.
It was told that there are a total of 44,112 electricity consumers and they are not able to get their problems solved by department in time. A large numbers of complaints are kept in queue to solve out. Even the number of employees is not sufficient.
The Executive Engineer Ramji Bhagat said, “For recruitment of the officers the correspondences are being carried out with govt and the district administration has also been informed.
The number of employees in this office is only 53 against a total of 127. So the 74 seats are vacant.
This included on seat for accountant, one for office-in-charge, three for head clerk, two for asst accountant, one for correspondence duty clerk, two for file clerk, two for guards, two for head tabulation male, 6 for tabulation male, 11 for junior tabulation male, two for button controllers and 17 for trained labours.”
