A total of 2000 charitable tickets were distributed among the village headmen and coordinators of Vikas Bharti under the movement–Vision for Rural Jharkhand, started by President of Vikas Bharti and founder and director of Kahsyap Memorial Eye Hospital Bharti Kashyap. “It is an effort by the Kashyap Eye Hospital to help poor people in providing better eye treatment through these charitable coupons,” said Kashyap.
Poor villagers can take advantage of eye treatment using these charitable tickets, added Kashyap. Kashyap further added that the rate of blindness registered in Jharkhand is two times of the national rate. “Vision 20-20 will prove to be a great help in improving the rate of blindness in the state,” said Kashyap.
