Lohardaga DC Aakansha Ranjan today thanked polling officials and staff, police officials and media persons for active participation and increasing voting percentage in the constituency. Talking to media persons in a press conference, she said that the Model Code of Conduct has ended now and the Government works are going on at a rapid pace.
The DC informed that there is an increase of 9.27 per cent polling in the constituency. In 2014 elections voting percentage was 61.19 per cent, while in 2019 it was 70.46 per cent. Male voting percentage was 68.62 per cent, while female voting percentage was 72.37 per cent this year.
She said that there was 9.04 per cent increase in Bishunpur in cmparison with 2014 general elections. Total Divyang voters were 2251 in Lohardaga, out of which 63.30 per cent exercised their right to vote. Ranjan said that in Peshrar total percentage of voters was 66.93 per cent, Kisko 69.79per cent, Kuru 71.68 per cent, Kairo 72.66 per cent, Bhandra 70.83 per cent, Lohardaga 72.27 per cent, Nagarpalika 67.86 per cent, Ansh 69 per cent, Peshrar-58.82 per cent, Senha 69.49 per cent, Bandeau 68.66 per cent. On the occasion SP Priyadarshi Alok, DDC R. Raunita, AC Anjani Kumar were present.
