A four-day long special training programme has been organized in Jharkhand Police Academy premises to train the officers and jawans of the force to successfully face the challenges which can come in their way while doing election duty.
In this training programme, members of police force from IPS rank to jawan level participated along with the officers and jawans of CRPF. During these four days the trainees were given theoretical and practical knowledge of identifying and diffusing landmines, remote control bombs, envelope bombs, time bombs etc.
Hazaribagh SP Akhilesh Jha, DSP Satish Chandra Jha, Hiralal Ravi, Inspector Sanjay Rana, Commandant CRPF Munna Singh, Vijay Ranjan and Ashraf Warsi of PTC gave valuable tips to the participants which will help them in their movement during election duty. The police personals who have just got trained of about identification and destruction of IED also shared their knowledge about this new technology being used by extremist nowadays.
