Hazaribagh Police has solved the murder mystery of retired veterinary assistant Jaglal Sao who was popular as veterinary doctor in town and nearby villages. We have arrested six persons in this case including the cousin brother, his wife and cousin grandson of Jaglal Sao, informed SP Akhilesh Jha.

It was a result of property dispute, jealous and hatred between the families of cousin Sao brothers, both residents of Kadma village which at the border of Hazaribagh town. The most astonishing fact in this case is that the grandson had given supari of his grandfather to some notorious youths of the same village who killed Jaglal Sao.

According to SP Jha cousin brother Chetlal Sao and his wife were the key figures behind the conspiracy of this murder. On their direction grandson Vikash Gupta talked with a local boy Manoj Kumar for his murder. Manoj demanded Rs. 5 lakhs and finally he agreed on Rs. 4 lakhs.

Then Manoj contacted two boys of same Kadma village named Banti Sinha and Banti Soni. Both agreed to take part in this plan and then they demanded a weapon from grandson Vikash who gave them a big knife. As per plan both Bantis went to the home of Jaglal Sao with a request to look the sick cow of their friend. Jaglal accompanied them and they took him in the under-construction house of Usha Pandey at Rewali village near railway station.

Manoj was already present there and as Jaglal entered inside the house they all attacked collectively on him and killed him within sometime. From there they took the scooty of Jaglal Sao and escaped. They threw the scooty abandoned on Hazaribagh-Chatra Road.

Vikash had given only Rs. 1000 as advance to the murderers. When they came back after killing Sao he gave Rs. 4000 more. Since then they were pressurizing Vikash for payment of rest money and Vikash was answering that I will go to Mumbai to earn and then I will pay. The hot exchange between Vikash, Manoj and Bantis gave a clue to police and finally they all were arrested. Among the culprits Banti Soni is underage while rests are adult, added SP Jha.
