Bokaro police cracked the murder mystery of a lawyer. The murder was over love triangle. Police arrested one woman, Sharda Devi (33), while her other associates in killing are still at large.
Nitesh Kumar (35) was hacked to death by unidentified goons on February 27. His blood drenched body was found from bushes under Sector 12 police station. Working on a tip-off police arrested Sarda Devi, wife of Vijay Prasad Verma and a resident of Sonatand under B S City police station.
During interrogation she accepted her involvement in killing of the lawyer, Nitesh. She also told the name of her associate (another lover) who were in the killing, said police. Sharda Devi has been sent to jail while police on hunt to arrest others.
According to the police Sharda and her husband Vijay has criminal track records, new Vijay is behind the bar, said police adding “several cases have been lodged at different police station in Dhanbad and Bokaro against the duos”.
Nitesh was brutally killed after slitting his throat and later his body was dumped into bushes near Gumla Colony in Bokaro.
