The Bokaro police during a patrolling with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) recovered arms and ammunition in a raid on an artificial Maoist bunker near Hadewe forest area, a Maoist–infested area at Jhumra hill under the Mahuatard police station here on Monday evening.
The Bokaro police and CRPF recovered 30 container bomb, 14 claymore bomb and huge others explosives from an artificial bunker .The entire explosives were found dumped.
The operation, carried out by Bokaro police in association with the CRPF,s battalion ended in the evening on Monday.
The Superintendent of police Jitendra Kumar Singh said the arrested one hardcore naxalite Mukhlal lal Bhagat was the source of the vital information about the Maoists and dumped explosives.
The operation had covered a vast area of spreading from Gomia block of the Bokaro district to the area of Jhumra hill .The recovered cantenor and claymore bomb have been defused by the special squad.
