In a bid to bring people nearer to the police for better output in prevention and detection of crime, a Police - Public meeting was held by Superintendent of police, Garhwa Khotre Srikant Suresh Rao, along with SDPO Bahman Tuti Inspector cum station in-charge Rajiv Kumar Singh, Garhwa at thana premises on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by City Council chairpersons, chamber of commerce members and prominent citizens of Garhwa town.
Various public issues and problems of people in the meeting pertaining to different departments i.e, police, traffic, health, transport etc were discussed in detail.
The grievances of all the participants were listened to and the SP assured that their genuine demands will be shot out as possible.
