Kodarma Police arrested Ritesh Saw s/o Jagdish Saw resident of vill/PS Madanpur under Aurangabad district in Bihar presently living in Taratand Jhuamaritelaiya as tenant, on charges of committing theft at a construction site on Tuesday against PS case No. 06/15 under section 395. According to police, a case had been registered against an unknown person on the application of Maa Vindhyvasini Constructions, said Sangita Kumari, Superintedent of police while talking to media in a Press conference.
Accused Ritesh has been arrested and police is investigating the case. SP Kumari emphasised on the need of verification of the tenants in the town to control the crime. According to police,most of the accused arrested in last some cases were identified as the tenants in the town. SP further said, “Police is probing the matter and will investigate in the iron factories in the town as the Ranjit supervisor of the factory is suspected in the matter.” The SP said that two persons were held a month ago for demanding extortion from the staff of the same construction company. She further said that a Goga Ram, alias Goga Sardar, now in Kodarma jail, was identified as the key man of the extortionist gang.
