In the ongoing drive of nabbing the absconders, Chauparan police nabbed a junior engineer named Basudev Prasad from the campus of lohardaga DC office on Thursday with the help of lohardaga police.
The nabbed junior engineer was absconding since 2011 in case number 84/11, 85/11 filed by the executive engineer of special division Hazaribagh.
Junior engineer Basudev Prasad was posted in Chauparanin 2008-09. He had made a fraud of Rs 56 lakhs in two schemes of MNREGA at that time.
In 2011 when he neither returned the money nor completed the work then EE filed an FIR against him and was suspended.
Recently the Jharkhand Government made his posting at lohardaga and when Chauparan police came to know it, it acted as per the instructions of SP AkhileshJha and nabbed him.
