lohardaga Police foiled the Maoist plan. Police recovered four IEDs of approximately six kg each from Banjari Tola of Kisko Police Station lohardaga District on Friday morning.
SP Manoj Ratan Chothe said, “These were fitted on the flanks of bridge leading to Kekrang picket. All four IEDs have been defused and destroyed safely by bomb defusing squad. Police took help of hounding dog also. The team participated in this operation was Kekrang unit of CRPF.”
On the occasion the SP, SDPO, deputy commander CRPF Anami Sharan, Asst Commandant Rajput and Asst Commandant CRPF Neeraj Sahi were present.
