On the occasion of International Women's Day, Ranchi's bilingual poet Rinku Banerjee "Madhu" was felicitated with ‘Naari Shakti Samman’ during the Women's Honour Ceremony cum Poet's Conference organized at Vinod Bihari Mahato Koylanchal University, Dhanbad on behalf of 'Johar Kalamkar Manch', Jharkhand for her years of contribution in music, literature and society.

The founder and co-chairperson of the forum, Mamata Banerjee, honoured her by giving her a corset and a certificate. Her composition "Yaksha Prashna'', in a country where women are worshiped and are considered goddesses, is an example of the extreme stigmatization of women in the same country and women what an irony it is to write 'Naari Narak Ke Dwari', which was greatly appreciated by the people.
